I flew into Frankfurt Germany, about an hour away from Landstuhl, where my brother was stationed at the time. Below is a picture of his living room, and one of the funny German signs you see all over the place.

One of the things you will see everywhere in Europe are roof lawns.

This pathway was right outside his apartment, and even though I was exhausted once we got home from the airport, we took this pathway to get donor kebab- something I ate massive amounts of in Europe but would never eat here at home.

Before I went to bed that evening, we hit up the grocery store for beer and drank out on my brother’s back porch, which has this view.
