I wish I’d used my 50mm 1.4 lens more while shooting architecture, because it produces this great shallow depth of field effect on a lot of things that make it look unique and less run-of-the-mill. I had to use it exclusively in Rome and Venice because Becca needed her 18-55mm lens back when she moved to Istanbul, and my 18-200mm broke on the second day of our trip in Germany. The reason why I used the 50mm to take this shot in Prague was because I was too lazy to switch it at the time. Even though it’s not a wide angle, I’m happy with it.
